Nature of the service

Vena Santé is a private, mobile nursing service. The business is not a laboratory. The collection is performed by a licensed practical nurse; the analysis, where applicable, is carried out by a partner laboratory under its own requirements.

Limits of the service

The site and the service provide no diagnosis, no medical consultation and no interpretation of results. In an emergency, or with concerning symptoms, call 911 or contact Info-Santé 811.

Every service offered is subject to the scope of practice of the licensed practical nurse, the applicable care methods, the required order and the conditions specific to each situation.

Orders and prescriptions

Where a service is performed under a prescription, a valid order is required. Without it, the service cannot be carried out.

Appointments, changes and cancellation

The appointment is confirmed in writing with the applicable preparation instructions. Changes and cancellations are possible under the cancellation policy, whose deadlines and any fees will be specified before launch and repeated in every confirmation.

Pricing and payment

The private fee for the mobile service covers travel and the nursing procedure. It is separate from analysis fees billed by the laboratory where those apply. No reimbursement by RAMQ or by private insurance is promised.

Territory

The service is offered within the served territory published on the site. A visit outside the territory may be considered with additional fees to be confirmed.
